Pett’s Best ever Halloween event took place at Pett Village Hall on Sunday 23th October. The spooky graveyard from last year had moved into the main hall and we were greeted by Frankenstein at the door. Our very scary waiter waited served skull pie to his dead companions and their dog Harold!
Inside the hall the Halloween committee and some very kind local people of Pett had transformed the hall. The Skeletons, Ghouls and Witches manned our usual Halloween games with some new additions. The blazing fire lit by our resident fire lighter kept us all warm as we ate the screaming sausages and blinding burgers cooked by the Skelton chef and his devil helpers.
The Halloween committee would like to thank everybody involved for their help this year with a special thank you to Sarah for Face painting, Paul Turner for being a wicked fire lighter and for preparing the bonfire. Thank you to Evelyn and David Darnell for the use of their field for the fire. A huge thank you to all our helpers for your continued support on setting up the hall, manning the games and feeding the crowd.
Look forward to seeing you all next year Sunday 22nd October 2017.
